I understand now that TO exclusively was thinking about weight, while that is only one of many things that are limited by the surface to volume scaling.
The whole issue with that is not only about weight, that hardly scratches the surface. Heat transfer, friction, radiation, mass transfer, etc. all get limited by this in some way and are FAR more consequential than weight alone.
So what did you try to talk about? In what setting?
How does levitation remove that constraint? It is still exactly the same?

But in a protest a rifle could also be too large. On the other hand, people are going to disperse really fast once anyone shoots, so yes. Maybe both?

It has next to nothing to do with pressure, let alone temperature drop due to expansion. There are 2 things:
- When each one quantity of cold and warm air mix, the temperature of the mixture is almost exactly the midpoint (average), as the heat capacity is almost a constant.
- Vapor pressure of the water is a function of temperature and scales FAR more than linear.
So now when the hot, humid (burned hydrocarbon) air of the exhaust mixes with cold air the temperature drops a bit, but the vapor pressure drops massively. When conditions are right, the vapor pressure is now below the amount of vapor pressure that is actually present -> condensation.
vapor pressure over temperature data, note how it changes more than 2 orders of magnitude over only 100 K.
Just found this from NASA.
Does it still cause harm? Or are people “just” still harmed by the exposure back then?
No, not everything is for everyone. I do not like drawing. The same way you probably are not going to like decoding a protocol some device used to communicate with its parts by looking at tons of ones and zeros and trying to find patterns that can be traced back to certain variables.

Eheran@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•Trump posts all-caps plea to China in early morning hours3·4 days agoYou DO know that dozens of millions voted for this clown and still follow him, even on that “platform” with about 5 million active users.
Why would you lie about that? What is there to gain from spreading FUD? People still love that piece of shit.
Oh, so you have the same understanding as everyone else here, you just worded it a bit odd. All good.
