Isn’t the cheapest steam deck $480? Does the switch do something more or less the same?

I want a phone like a paper map where when completely unfolded, I’d be unsure how to fold it back.

Sure, the monsters are currently to fast and aggressive compared to the player. But that is a different point than what the article is trying to make. The fix to that isn’t taking PoE2 and making it into PoE again.

You can go blast monsters in PoE. Why would you want PoE2 to be just another PoE?

You could maybe provide glasses on venue. Have some different strength lenses ready to pop in a frame. That or just check the inside of the frame for the name of the glasses and check if it is AI powered.
