Why only sue for $54 million? That seems puzzling. Were their losses only partly due to tariffs?

And it is if you invest it reasonably.

Worked for them as a contractor for a few months. Weird company. Never did make it onsite, but I was told as we were planning one that they are super weird about stuff like walking on grass and extremely conservative about dress code.
Ever since then, I’ve researched companies and owners before accepting jobs. And it brightens my day a bit to piss on their corporate logo, often found in urinals. I’m pretty sure the last place I saw them was Costco, which is a company I have a bit of respect for over the way they treat employees, but I wish they’d be more careful about vendors. Funding propaganda and evil public policy is bad even when you’re just trying to save a buck.

Agree with beer. Now I’m slightly snobbish about beer, but it’s still generally not my favorite. Stella Midnight Lager and Yeungling Black & Tan are really good though.
I used to have to drink hard stuff to get drunk enough not to taste the beer. But eventually I got there.
Other than that… not really. When I was growing up, I hated tomatoes and onions. In the army, calories were calories. Throw everything on that salad. Now I like them. But it wasn’t really voluntary and I didn’t set out with that goal.

There’s a reason Santa is tracked by NORAD.
(No)

I see. So “The internet app is never wrong” is policy.
Why, I’d have calories for a lifetime! I would never need eat again.

Did the killer name himself? I thought that usually wasn’t the case.

Are they kidding? Santa would be sent to CECOT before he could say Ho! Ho! Ho!
There is only one policy they are in agreement on: coal for assholes. And those assholes love their coal.

I wouldn’t be so certain. He’s weird. And someone is probably telling him he could name it Trumpland.

I do not consent to your bullshit. I don’t care how you phrase it. I don’t care how difficult you make it to express. I will never, ever, consent to tracking or personalized ads.
And the thing is, you fucking well know it! No one opts in except through obfuscation.

The first one generated tremendous buzz. And while I don’t generally go to see 3D movies, the 3D in avatar movies is exceptional and worth seeing in theaters.
The second one wasn’t nearly the same buzz, so I agree there. But the 3D was still amazing.

Blazing Saddles and Krull stand out in my mind. But those are just a gnat fart in a hurricane of quicksand references.

What I was trying to convey was that being married to the wrong person left me depressed and feeling like a failure. It wasn’t the marriage, it was being with the right person.

Can’t speak for them, but it increased my confidence and reduced my depression. But I’ve been married twice and the first one was very much not this. It has to do with the right relationship, not just being in one.

No. But also I don’t really make any effort. I see the drama my wife goes through with her close family and I don’t need any of that. They are just strangers who share a relative with me.
No ill feelings, I’m just no less awkward with them than other normies.

If it’s funny enough without being mean, I’ll upvote.
That’s not hundreds of millions of dollars, which is their claimed losses.
