It’s like time travel. One moment you’re here, and the next it’s an hour later and you’ve somehow arrived.
Don’t ask me what happened during that time, I wasn’t really there.

Pardon my rambling and broken English, I know I often sound like an alien trying to impersonate a human being.

Don’t listen to him, he’s not even a spider!

4·15 days agoI remember spending a lot of time with Unlimited Adventures, it was where I first tried writing my own adventures. The included story was so-so, but I spend a lot of time exploring downloaded modules. There’s still a ton of modules available online even now, some of them over thirty years old.
Cuddling with my partner in bed. Especially early in the morning, when I give myself an extra half hour to just stay close together for a little while longer.

10·23 days agoI wouldn’t dare to sit here as a human. I’m too big and would probably squish them all by accident.
But if I got to choose to be one, I’d go for the spiders. You get:
- two extra legs over the rest
- your own supply of crafting materials
- lots of eyes
- and a cozy place to relax in

10·1 month agoI was sitting on a bouncy stool and basically bounced up and down throughout the entire meeting. I ended up making someone seasick.
The rhyming style sounds so much like the Gruffalo :)
Sure it can, you just need to look at it from the other side.
This looks great, the line work is really nice!

5·2 months agoI started a new doodle recently.

It’s a long term on-and-off again project where I just doodle whatever comes to mind. I still have a lot of canvas to cover before it’s done :)

Which sounds weird for some reason, when I write it down like this. Even though we’ve been using it for about 20 years now.

news@lemmings.world•Trump’s tariffs cancel Christmas: New York town forced to cancel annual celebration because of rising costsEnglish
2·2 months agoWow, first time I heard of Sinterklaas being celebrated in the US.
Based on an old Dutch tradition, Sinterklaas is a day-long celebration in Rhinebeck where the children are dressed up as kings and queens and revered as the bringers of light at a dark time of year.
This sounds so much more wholesome than how we celebrate it over here.
I’m sure they would’ve gotten federal funding from this administration if the celebration had Zwarte Piet(Black Pete)😒
Thank you!
I used a symmetry tool, no copy and paste needed :)
To be honest the coloring was a bit of an afterthought, I couldn’t think of what to add anymore so I added some coloring to finish it.
It’s a digital piece, so I suppose it should be easy enough to change the colors to something like you suggest. I do like the idea of light on dark, I’ll look into it when I have time. Thank you for the suggestion :)
I drew this on an ipad using Procreate. But I’m sure you can use something like Krita with similar results.
I got engaged 🥰

1112·3 months agoI really dislike clickbait headlines like these, it’s Austria if you’re wondering.
- Austria’s military has switched from Microsoft Office to LibreOffice.
- The move was all about digital sovereignty, not cost savings.
- Other governments are moving away from Microsoft to protect their citizens’ privacy.

I can understand the complaint though.
You might not have come if you knew beforehand that it would be this busy. But now that you’re finally here, you don’t want to waste the trip and decide to make the best of it. You just grumble a little that it’s so busy.
