We don’t want them here, either. Perhaps there’s some neutral geographic feature between us that would welcome them unconditionally.

Orange sociopath would like a more PR-friendly series of kidnappings and murders, please and thank you
Hungry dogs. Don’t forget, we have a lot of options.

I don’t have enough vomit for this, can I borrow someone else’s
I always feel fortunate that I have a single person in the world who genuinely tries their best to help us live our best life. And it would be devastating to them if I were gone. Can’t do that to them. So I keep going, keep trying.
The constant bombardment is exhausting, especially now with this resurgence of animosity.
It’s not gonna stop me from being visible. I’m fortunate enough not to live in a hostile environment. Solidarity is survival.

It’s time to stop waffling and hoping. This is war. Send in the National Guard and clear ICE from Minnesota before more people are killed.

Tim Walz, send in the Guard and clear ICE from your cities before someone else gets killed by racist insurrectionists.

Racist segregationists are waging war against America. It’s time to crush this ideology and restore sanity before this whole thing goes up in flames. These people need to be identified, tried, and convicted. No peace with racism.

Tf is wrong with these dipshits

I thought that said mortality and I was inclined to agree

God damn it, I’m so tired of this.
Because the alternatives, so far, are worse.
Somewhere south of here is a tundra desert called “No one would miss me.”
It’s very, very cold.
If we’re not counting Orlok as Dracula for technical reasons, I’m going with Gary Oldman. I have to give him high marks for performance, and for representation in the script. Hair and makeup, costume, direction… Oldman is what I think of when I hear “Dracula.”

This is not the future we envisioned.

It’s funny looking back and thinking about how I used to assume that the opposing party would rain down hellfire on a President that abused his office, thus decorum would keep power in check.
It wasn’t ever actually true when I was a kid and it’s extremely obvious now that was always theater. There’s almost no one in office with morals, ethics, or courage. It’s a generally craven career full of spineless sycophants and opportunists.
There are a few decent people who aren’t just pretending to care about the people they work for. But in general it’s a scam, an orphan crushing machine operated by corrupted weirdos.
I know they have their little justifications behind the scenes. No one will remember them. They’ll just say “Democrats failed to vote in favor of impeachment against the most transparently corrupt President in U.S. history.”
There’s a fine line between handing out participation awards to special needs to boost their self-esteem and trolling a moron for lulz. This is simultaneously both and neither.

The only friend I have is the one I married. And we met online.
Typically I prefer if sex scenes tell us something about the narrative, themes, or characters. It feels dated to just have a scene that only serves to titillate the audience. Like from a generation that was averse to porn consumption or access.
I absolutely don’t mind if a couple of actors can tell us something about their characters though sex and nudity. It’s part of being human, it’s part of storytelling. But the show should be about something or I’m just gonna get bored.
That being said, some older movies were spectacle first, light on plot, heavy on nudity and sex, and were meant as light entertainment. They often crossed lines of taste, so not for everyone. Kind of a dead genre, exploitation. I’m an age where I can still appreciate it but often hit a wall of ick and discomfort over badly aged tropes.
