There seems to be a commenter on the article that is saying it’s a Western Digital firmware issue and not a Windows issue.
It’s NOT a Windows issue. It’s an SSD firmware issue.
Linux developers encountered this firmware bug back in 2022.
That would explain why I hate loud noise and love choo choo trains.
