Didn’t they literally make a game about bullying, also is there a game (by another studio) about “going postal”.
I even saw a game trying to recreate the JFK headshot, but this is something they frown upon?

Oh look. It’s this weeks “red line”

He’s going to come up with some excuse no matter how flimsy and by then it’ll be too close to the elections. Doing it now means that there are still 11 months which would be more than enough time to erode support for it.

If it wasn’t about ego, they would donate anonymously. Then if something is named after them it should be because of their achievements/impact in their field. Not just the money. But they’re too vain for that.

Do you want a price on your head? Because that’s how you get someone to start picking off politicians.

Except a lot of rich people “donate” large sums of money and places “honor” them by naming it after them. Really they’re just paying to put their name of stuff…. which, yeah, falls under cringe.
Cutting is just something I learned to do right handed for that exact reason.

So then the Italian court orders its local ISPs to blackhole 1.1.1.1 (which would be stupid easy). Which will end up pushing people to VPNs but still satisfy the court order.

Thank you. That’s more of the differentiation I was curious about. I know fundamentally a turbine is a turbine but I figured there was some degree of customization and trade offs between the two.
And the more polluting is gonna be a fun one especially with how bad the issue of generators at the Grok DC in Tennessee is.

Yes, that’s the how. But I was talking about efficiency. Would that engine be just as efficient as another motor connected to a generator to produce electricity? My hypothesis was: no it’s not, which is why I was saying they’re just reaching for anything to provide power at this rate.

I stopped using it when all that happened is people were complaining about one of two things “omg, these fireworks are causing little muffy to freak out!” (Usually on the 4th of July or New Years) and “can you tell me who this stranger is walking down the public sidewalk. He even has…. a backpack!”
Left Reddit when they killed access to 3rd party apps the API. Switched to Lemmy and haven’t looked back.

Isn’t the rotation of the turbine in a jet engine designed with the idea of pushing massive amounts of air and not necessarily the efficiency of the turbine rotation to produce electricity? Like it feels it’s not that efficient and they’re just reaching for anything they can use to generate power.

It really warms my heart to think of how rent free Obama winning the prize is in his head. It really gets under his skin and he is trying every way he can think of to get that prize. You know it just steams him all the time.

US will hit Iran “very hard” if protesters are killed
Meanwhile, in the US, the protesters are being killed by their own government.
Seriously I wish I could turn hypocrisy into a usable power source.

“Go work in the fields… we deported everyone there already”

So what’s the problem? The post gets visibility and interaction if it’s good with eyeballs on it. Lemmy doesn’t have a “reputation” system like Reddit. Votes don’t matter, and you’re not monetizing it.
I also read an article on trying to reuse old jet engines too. They’re trying to get their hands on anything that can produce electricity.
