    I blame insurance companies. They should be applying pressure here, but for some reason they don’t. You’d think they could see they would make more money on auto premiums if they didn’t have so many payouts.

      They’re charging up the ass for anything and everything as it is. You used to see your monthly costs go down as your car aged. We now see monthly costs increase as your car ages. At least in my area and we still have some of the absolute worst drivers on the road. It actually got worse in my rural area since the big city people have been moving out this way to reduce costs on housing.
