Like the agent stepping in front of a vehicle that he knows can be a deadly weapon?

Not really more clearly but it’s definitely a better angle. It does look like the car pushed him. Still, by the time he gets a shot off he’s already been pushed out of the way.

I think you should re-watch the footage and see where his feet are when he shoots. He does shoot through the windshield but he’s already past the hood when he does so. He goes a bit out of his way to shoot through the windshield.

This appears to be when his first shot occurred, based on the sound from the footage. You telling me that’s still in front of the vehicle?

Ohh, that’s quite different.

Assuming you’re talking about the Judge Dredd universe, what fun parts?

They also say that 91% of answers contained at least some issues. That’s pretty bad.

I’m not saying this is black and white. And it’s easy to look back at this and think on everythjng for more than a quick second. But what I am saying is that those agents did everything in their power to escalate a situation, including stepping in front of the vehicle on foot, that did not seem to require it. That lead to this result. It was poor choices all around. And I still want to reiterate, the agent didn’t even shoot until he was already out of the way of the vehicle.
And if you’re trying to equate this woman to Kirk… well, you’ve lost my interest in further discussion. Too many may have celebrated his death, but being apathetic to a hateful person’s death isn’t even in the same league.

I mean, you can look at the video footage and make your own determination. I don’t think anyone is going to argue that if someone is trying to intentionally run you over that shooting them is going to be unreasonable force. The question is whether she was trying to intentionally run over the person. I’m not convinced she was. Hell, the guy doesn’t even get a shot off until he’s already clear of the car.
I also find it a bit ridiculous that an officer can claim they feared for their life if someone points a gun at them and use that as justification for lethal force but it’s apparently entirely unreasonable or unexpected for a regular person to fear for their life when a cop points a gun at them.
There did not seem to be a reason for the cop to even pull a gun. What was the worst thing that would happen if she got away? She’s kill or harm someone? That seems very unlikely. Maybe she’d go interfere with some other ICE agents. But that doesn’t seem like a good enough reason to use deadly force either.

I see someone hates the cold as much as I do.
Should have made the fence taller in the capitalist section too.

Might be a bit more for Trump. He’s got a big head, in more ways than one.

Well. Not good. I couldn’t help myself considering the context.

Lake Laogai sounds more pleasant.

“Find a reason.” Nah, we’ll pick from the many, many reasons you’ve already given us.

I was hoping Santa would fulfill my wish, but he did not. I’m starting to think he’s not real.
I don’t think we’ll ever view this interaction in the same light.
