10·2 years agoUbuntu was my first Linux desktop distro and I’ve been using it for 4ish years. I really liked it but I no longer feel like I can trust canonical after the whole ‘secretly install Firefox snap when installed with apt cli’ thing. It wouldn’t have even been a big deal if they just said it was only available as a snap but the execution pissed me off to the point of switching

12·2 years agoAre you sure? Discover does have free identity monitoring and I get emails every month saying whether they found anything or not. I have never gotten an email saying they found my ssn though so can’t say for sure if this is legit. Either way I would still check through the app or their website without opening the link.

Ya i get that but one is so much worse that the comparison threw me off
