China’s not going to invade anything, popular support for peaceful reunification is higher than ever and the US is giving Taiwan and the rest of the world new reasons to distance themselves from us all the time. All China has to do is sit back and watch as we voluntarily shit the bed, they’ll get Taiwan and probably more with no sanctions or bloodshed.

Same and it was my first Fallout game lol, the gameplay and setting are great but the actual story is kinda dogshit, better than FO4 but that’s an incredibly low bar

The spirit & aesthetic of the games was reasonably represented, just not enough for me to like the story

I watched the first few episodes, it was pretty but stupid. The game had all sorts of shit that didn’t make sense but I always had the option to ignore it and go do something else because it’s a game, in a fixed perspective narrative experience like a TV series there’s no choice but to stare straight into the stupid or stop watching, so I stopped watching.

I didn’t expect much and was still disappointed, didn’t make it past episode 4 or 5. Production value was great, everything looked good and was a reasonable representation of the setting and aesthetics of the games, but the plot and behavior of the characters was routinely just immersion-ruiningly stupid and made no goddamn sense. I understand not everyone finds that to be as much of a deal breaker though, so it’s not something I’m giving anybody else shit for enjoying, but I have no reason not to expect that their contributions to the lore will also make no sense.

I love New Vegas, passing on the show and anything it has to say about the game
