Good to know. I guess I managed to only look at their Android offerings.
PocketBooks use Android, which can be a positive or a negative. It gives you access to Play Store, but it’s also Google.
Calibre can also convert between various file formats, and with DeDRM plugin, it can also remove Amazon and Adobe DRM.
Also subscription services typically pay the actual authors only pennies. If you want to support the authors, buy the books or use libraries.
There are stores in many European countries that sell DRM-free e-books in local languages. They might use the term watermarked instead of DRM-free. See if you can find one in your country. Because they are DRM-free, you can use any device to read them.
Many libraries also lets you rent audiobooks and e-books. Many European libraries have moved to using Readium LCP DRM for e-books. You will probably have to use their own app to read them, which means you can’t use e-readers, such as Kobo to read them.

At this level of efficiency, the fusion reaction largely self-heats, becoming a “burning plasma.”
That 10x gain would be pretty huge, if they can make it to work. I believe the record so far is only 1.5x.

They have laid out a test cycle that needs to be repeated until the device turns off. The rest of the information on that label is just for your information.
One problem I can see with this is that it pushes manufactures to set as high maximum charge level, and as low minimum charge level for the battery as possible. What is “full” and “empty” for a battery is something that the manufacturer sets. The higher the “full” level is, and the lower the “empty” level is, the more stress is caused for the battery, which leads to the battery dying sooner. If you for example limit battery charging to 80% charge level, you can double the expected lifetime of a lithium battery. But this rating system doesn’t take that in consideration. It’s up to the consumer to choose between Class A device with 500 cycle battery and Class B (or something) device with 1000 cycle battery.
The EU now mandate that smartphones and tablets must be repairable, with parts like batteries, cameras, displays to be available for 7 years from the time the device enters market.

Security related changes:
CVE-2019-19126: ld.so failed to ignore the LD_PREFER_MAP_32BIT_EXEC environment variable during program execution after a security transition, allowing local attackers to restrict the possible mapping addresses for loaded libraries and thus bypass ASLR for a setuid program. Any claims for “privacy-focused”, “secure”, etc should be considered marketing terms until they are somehow sufficiently proven to be true. For example, Zen Browser is one of the many Firefox forks. Its developer has made some major mistakes and otherwise behaved in questionable manner, and have basically shown to be an inexperienced developer.

It gives wrong information about where companies are based in. For example, it claims that Brave browser is by a Swiss company, even though it’s American. At one point, it claimed that McDonald’s is a Swiss company, but now it doesn’t say where it’s based on. Excluding one alternative, all the alternatives for McDonald’s are American (such as KFC, Domino’s Pizza, Burger King), even though it claims otherwise. I’m sure there are many other examples. This type of service should in my opinion give accurate information. Because of that, I think it should be removed.

It lets you install kernels up to the very latest one (currently 6.14.2). It has a GUI, or you can just enter
sudo mainline install-latest
in terminal to install the latest kernel. Here’s a guide how to install it: https://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2020/08/mainline-install-latest-kernel-ubuntu-linux-mint/
If you are gaming, it’s recommended to use the latest kernel. Newer kernels not only provides support for newer hardware, but can also improve performance.

Xcode is the app you need to use, if you want to submit your app to macOS or iOS App Store. You can build macOS apps with other tools, but you can’t distribute them in the App Store. There are developers who sell their apps through their own websites, or through other marketplaces, such as Steam. And while you can build iOS apps with other tools as well, it’s mostly pointless as you can’t distribute them, because iPhone doesn’t support sideloading. Jailbroken iPhones are an exemption to that.
