Personally I don’t mind “social safety nets”.
But for me the issue is that I work hard to have, and to continue having a nice life for my family and I. I took the risk, I invested in myself, and made the right choices over and over again. There should be a reward for that.
And while I don’t think people should be homeless and starving, I’m realistic enough about the current politics (of both parties) to know that the wealthy won’t be the ones to pay for it, it will be weaponized to drive the wealth gap further apart.
Sure in a perfect world billionaires would be taxed (and actually have to pay), and we could provide all this wonderful socialism everyone here wants, but that’s never actually going to happen and I don’t feel like paying even more taxes to watch the funds disappear into the already massive (and misused) budget.

Thank you! I fixed it!

I’m going to say this as someone who also does not, clearly you’ve never been to church!

I can’t upvote you enough!

Oh man, wait until they hear about this magic invention call “The School Bus”, it’s going to blow their minds!

I’m not trying to be rude, but I’m guessing English is a second language for you.
We (Europe) also let the hard power plus soft power to the USA after WW2
So if I’m reading this right, in your opinion, war torn Europe was generous in “letting” the USA supply aid after WW2?
They have benefited enormously from that internationally, economically…
And yeah, that’s kind of the point, do you think any country in the world sends the GDP of a small country to another nation, purely out of the goodness of their heart?
half siding with Russia…
I sure hope you aren’t talking about me…

Sorry, I guess we are being cheap, only contributing almost as much as everyone else combined.
It’s always “the USA is bad” until someone needs something, and suddenly doing as much as everyone else combined isn’t enough.

USA: sends $170,000,000,000+ in aid…
The Rest of the World: “The USA isn’t doing enough!”
Where do you think Ukraine is getting it’s intelligence from?
Trying to argue with liberals.
They have some good ideas but have no realistic plan to implement them into society.

Rumor is floating around they took a two hour maintenance delay for the left engine prior to this.
All three pilots dead.

Grapevine says three pilots, all dead. Not sure if that is the three or if three on the ground died as well.
Leela: But fry, you are poor.
Fry: Yeah but one day I might not be, and then people like me better watch out!
Killing floor used to do good holiday events, but it’s been years since I’ve participated, they may not anymore!

Part of me wonders if it’s a recession, or if the ultra rich have finally squeezed everyone to the point it feels like one.
I’ve made more money this year than I ever thought I would, like double the most my parents have ever made and yet it doesn’t feel like I thought it would.

Is there something identifying him as Israeli I’m not seeing?

I had a couple TP-link wifi switches at my old house and never really ran into problems.
My plan is to implement ZigBee at our new house, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.

I used them mainly for 5+ years, they work pretty well, they definitely don’t last forever like most LED bulbs claim.
The biggest problem I ran into was other people, even my wife would still flip switches off which made them kind of pointless.
They work good in lamps but as far as places with obvious switches go, I would get smart switches instead.

Couldn’t have said it better. Battlebit revived gaming for me after not playing an online shooter since Battlefield 4.
Hopefully when winter rolls around I can get back to it!
