Riiiight. With the conversation all being around the US, I’d assumed your girlfriend was the one in the US. That’s very different then and frankly, bollocks to those in the US. So many of them believe the AoC is 18 nationwide so there opinion really doesn’t belong in the conversation. No offence, but it doesn’t matter what you believe. I’m not going to accuse you of anything some of these people are, just advise you read up on the age of consent where she is and not you. As an American citizen, she’s under the jurisdiction of the US. There are many states (the majority actually) where the AoC is lower than 18 just make sure she’s in one of them or you could risk being in serious trouble if you ever visited her, even after she’s become a legal adult.

That last part isn’t necessarily true. It’s often seen as a blanket statement that the age of consent in the US is 18 but that’s not true for many states. We don’t know where OP’s girlfriend lives and I’d say it’s entirely for the best he doesn’t, but for all we know she lives in one of the ~30 states where the AoC is 16 or the 6 where it’s 17.

Despite having heard the name Siobhan (pronounced Sheh-vaugn), I never saw it written until many years later and in an unrelated circumstance so I assumed it was pronounced “Sigh-Oh-Ban”. Irish names are insanely confusing for anyone who isn’t Irish and I’ll eternally argue there’s no shame in getting one wrong.

Let’s put it this way, the market price for the Switch 2 is roughly the same converted price in the UK. Now, to my knowledge, the UK hasn’t also introduced these tariffs quietly so I can’t, in good conscience, blame ol’ Delusional Donald for this one.

Because they’re delusional enough to think if they cater to the audiences of other sites they’ll tempt that audience to scrape off to their site instead of the site that came up with the thing and do it better.

Install something like GBWhatsapp. Whatsapp seems to do ban waves every now and again so there’s no guarantee on the time frame you’ll get banned (it took about 4 years for them to catch up with me) but it’ll more than likely happen eventually.
