  • What in the “capitalist realism” nonsense is this?

Quit getting stuck on vague, arbitrary metrics such as “growth” and the myth of “supply-demand”

We don’t need, as in physical need, “investment”. That is a consequence of monetary based economics that arbitrarily restricts people’s ability to utilize available resources unless they satisfy the profit incentive of a few wealthy owning class individuals.

Everything you mentioned is a consequence only because the system of capitalism creates it. Change the system and how the distribution and ownership of resources works on a fundamental level and all of those concerns become recontextualized or simply no longer exist.

  • So long as we live under the hierarchical authority of nation-states that creates the authoritative dynamic for fascism to take root, further enabled by the capitalist hegemony and the private ownership of necessity resources that keeps people reliant on these hierarchical powers, we will never truly defeat fascism. They will just run back to their hovels and bide time as the system helps them to consolidate wealth and power until they can again make their play for power.

  • Truly sad people that are holding back social progress.

The “accept your lot in life/things are what they are” crowd. They believe this is the best it can be for them and that it’s the way things have to be otherwise they must admit things could be better and all their efforts in life have been in vain. So to protect their fragile egos they embrace the bottom of the barrel. They see any who try to highlight that things should and could be better as agitators just trying to make people upset and their lash out because it contradicts their foundational worldview.

It is sad because it is literally a trauma response to protect their psyche. If they ever had to accept reality they would crash out in despair and the brain naturally will do damn near anything to avoid that.

  • As an anarchist I firmly disagree with this entire premise.

We literally live in a society governed by the whims most powerful people as dictated by the hierarchy that “rule of law” and the capitalist system creates. Rule of law got its beginning in the whims of kings deciding that everyone “beneath” them on the social hierarchy should follow their rule or be subject to punishment. The rule of law is literally “might makes right”, you either listen to the authority of those at the top of the hierarchy or they will send the state dogs (the police) to force you into obedience.

Stealing food from a corporate entity is 100% a morally correct action. Stealing itself is an action that cannot be morally judged without understanding the socioeconomic circumstances behind why someone would feel they need to steal in the first place.

Following the law has nothing to do with morality.
