This is probably not to place to ask about getting a Nintendo console. Most people here are hardcore pc. (which is fine, but definitely biased).
My personal recommendation is this:
Do you want to play new Nintendo games? Get a switch 2.
Want to older Nintendo games and multiplats? Get a steamdeck.
Hopefully they enable it for proton in general so desktop users can use it.
I wish they wouldn’t have teased it if it’s that far out.
Why anyone still uses Plex for new setups is beyond me.
Do creators still get adsense for their videos if I watch it on peertube? There’s creators I still want to support. Not interested it it’s just unofficial reuploads not related to the video creators.
It’s just a fun party game.
To my knowledge, the emulator batocera uses for GBA doesn’t currently support multiplayer. Only the normal GB and GBC.
I use emby for my entire media collection, including music.
I’m a huge borderlands fan. I will not be buying this for $80 lol.
You posted in a self hosting community, a lot of people are going to want to host this themselves.

I hope the steamVR client gets updated so I can use my quest 3 on it with the remote play app. One of the few things that keeps me dualbooting windows.

They’re unfortunately not wrong. The generative stuff is only going to look better and better to a point where it would be very hard/impossible to tell.

Monster Hunter Rise. World and Wilds are great too, but the multiplayer just isn’t as seamless when going through the main story.
I use Emby with the lifetime premier (their ‘premium’ version).
Works great, but honestly I would just point people to Jellyfin unless Emby provides something specific you need. I just use it because it’s what I’ve had for years.
I’m assuming this for anyone who bought directly from their website? You don’t need to enter an email into anything they have software wise to my knowledge.
Still sucks it happened but they seem to be taking the right approach to fixing it imo.
Maybe it’s just the games I’ve been playing (mainly Mario Kart and TOTK), but I havent really had any issues with the Switch 2 screen, and I’m usually pretty sensitive to that stuff, at least on PC.
