Pretty interesting and always impressive what technical marvels humans have creates. This is a rare glimpse into such a machine from the past.

What makes it better and what were these recent updates? Genuinely curious. I hope there is more than one dev, lest it go the way of mbin or kbin, forgot which one was abandoned.

Is this project hinging on one person, like kbin (or mbin? I get them mixed up. ) did? I liked that project, but am glad I didn’t make the switch, because it was gone maybe a year later.

I’ve done this. Because I almost exclusively drank out of a camelpak for a while, so I had it on my night stand often. It was super easy and convenient to take a sip of water while laying down. I’ve wanted something like that again, but yeah, having that next to your bed isn’t great lol

Ah I see, thanks for explaining! I feel a bit dense right now, but what is “says” supposed to mean? Or am I thinking about it too much and it’s just a fill word to have a four word chant.

Do both players agree who bets on evens and who on odds, and then they say “SHOOT” and show their fingers?

I use simkl after using Trakt, and I prefer it. I can’t remeber what I liked better about it, I guess just the general ux. Oh and it can track Anime, although that can be a bit wonky.

Why did they do that actually? What were they trying to gain? Provoke the war machine and point it at their rivals?

Guaranteed they’re just using the excuse of a test instance to push their idealogy.

Are you really arguing against the utility of a purpose-built application just because there are existing (less efficient) ways of doing things?

I just imagined a future where drones are so pervasive and advanced against current defenses, the only real defence would be a electromagnetic pulse. Even losing all other electronic means of communication, infrastructure, etc., at least the explosive and chemical weapons death swarm that was coming just fell to the ground. And guns and gunpowder will still work.
(Losing most all electricity is probably not worth the trade off, just a short thought)
