Down to the wire, though, if Elon is responsible for killing the world’s poorest children of today then that logic should translate to Bill Gate’s being responsible for killing the world’s poorest children of yesterday.
It’s pot and kettle. Gate’s might have used his position of great wealth for some good things but there are also some… questionable things. According to him his conversations with Epstein were ‘huge mistakes’… this is, of course, referring to Gate’s relationship with Epstein - something that took place after Epstein was convicted of sex crimes.

Is there some context about this person I’m not aware of?
Etymologically, it seems like there are theories surrounding where it comes from.
The ones I’m familiar with are ‘poesje’, a Dutch word meaning ‘little cat’. The other is the Old English word ‘pus’ meaning ‘pocket’.
I’m far more inclined to believe ‘poesje’ is the origin, with ‘pus’ being an incorrect association due to common modern usage of the word ‘pussy’ in place of ‘vagina’.
Idk who convinced this guy that it’s short for pusillanimous. Sounds like someone trolled the fuck out of him. Anyone with a strong understanding of English (and language, really - what I’m about to say is just human nature) understands that languages follow the path of least resistance. It, logically, does not make sense that pusillanimous (a word totally unused in the average English speakers vernacular) would be where pussy comes from. Unless your inner idea of English speakers 3 centuries ago is some fucked up Shakespeare-an parody.

No it very much is political, political simply means ‘relating to govt. conduct/policy’.
Eating grapes is political if the govt. decides that everyone needs to eat grapes and sets policies towards that end. Obviously speaking with hyperbole, but you understand my point.
So yes, I would say it’s a political decision to decide to end a genocide - especially when the genocide is being carried out by local govt. The choice of whether or not to end a genocide should be obvious.

Every single person on that bridge there was helping this person. You have no idea what happened next, that lost soul may have just been taken in by their new found family - and you’re advocating for that person to just die instead because they feel like it in that moment. Despite the overwhelming amount of suicide survivors reporting regret for their actions.
Yes, there are circumstances where suicide is the correct option. Terminal illness or chronic pain come to mind. Outside of that, however, to advocate for anything but life first is sick. Your stance should be to help people withstand and recover from their trauma, not usher them into oblivion.
