431·24 days agoReducing the validity timespan will not solve the problem, it only reduces the risk. And how big is that risk really? I’m an amateur and would love to see some real malicious case descriptions that would have been avoided had the certificate been revoked earlier…

…and it highlighted the possibility for drivers to push hard without having to worry about management.
The sport is to go fast, tyre management prevents that. I think mandatory 2 stoppers will make them push harder, but may also reduce the on track overtaking. Needs to be analyzed better (or tried).

Right, Max usually got a penalty for not being British.
After my renewal of F1TV was refused, I have been trying to find a legal way to watch f1 for years. I am a world traveler, I do not live in my home country, but my bank account is there. At one point f1tv was ideal for people like me, but because of the contracts between Liberty Media and local operators, f1tv blocked renewal of my account.
With this new AppleTV contract they will just push more people towards illegal streaming. I miss often interesting parts of races. Watching F1 is not a joyful experience anymore and I sometimes skip complete race weekends.

I know the pain of loosing a pet. But messages like Hamilton’s on social media do give me the creeps: rich man problems.
Poor people currently are fighting to get their kids into a hospital. Rich people postpone their work to be with their dog in IC. Then they post it on social media for… For what? Scoring Social Media points? Empathy?

9th is not bad, but it is not qualifying. And it would sound a lot less positive in this way: “Tsunoda starts behind Albon and Hulkenberg”.
For me, the McLaren Marlboro livery should be in the list. Probably second after Lotus - JohnPlayer livery (pictured here also).
I choose this McLaren MP4/5B. Too bad the car-designs got worse after this and tobacco brands were banned in many countries. But Marlboro was a very strong brand in F1, even continued for quite a while without showing the actual brand-name.
