If this was completely true, psychedelics would be legalised.
There’s nothing wrong with drugs per se. Psychedelics are fun recreational drugs that don’t have a lot of harm, and the harms they have are mostly because they’re illegal. I also think being against drugs in general is kind of reactionary. Because there’s a huge difference in LSD and heroin. And alcohol is a drug on the same level of cocaine imo but that doesn’t mean I’m in favour of banning it, so why ban other drugs? People using drugs also says nothing about how socialist they are. Even if they’re addicted, because then they are a victim.
Which country?
For me, it’s necessary to sometimes just retreat into a leftist bubble to remind me that there are sane people around. Lemmygrad helps with that.
Being politically active helps as well, because it makes you feel like you are combatting the propaganda and capitalist power at least a little bit, which puts your mind a little more at ease.
I’m somewhat of an anti-natalist. I don’t think it’s necessarily smart to have children, only if you really want to but even then not too many.
I think there are too many rules when it comes to things like alcohol and cigarettes because I think it is the responsibility of the person itself and not the government. But fuck cigarette and alcohol advertising though
Lastly I don’t like it when people are too affectionate in public and think they should keep it to themselves
I agree, especially for those American expats
I don’t. Part of it is because of being trans and infertile, part of me wonders if I can handle it mentally and financially. And I missed out of my own childhood and teenagehood a little bit and I want to catch up and can’t do that if I get children.
There’s also the overpopulation concern.
Recreational doesn’t mean abusing them. And when I think of medicinal use I’m thinking inside a hospital or something. I think what you’re talking about is also recreational.
