Ok, I see the angle you’re coming from but I disagree. I think it will be a slow, drawn out but painful decline.

Just existing as a woman or trans person isn’t political. No one ever says this about existing as a man.

Having used various drugs over the years, including smoking weed every day for about 15 of them, I strongly believe that you should only use drugs to enhance good times. If you use drugs to stop yourself from feeling, it makes it SO much harder to cope with bad feelings and basically stops you from learning and growing as a person.

I don’t think we can predict it because no scientist has been able to accurately give a timescale yet. I’ve been a buyer for 10 years and the frequency and scale of crop shortages has grown in that time, so based on that I believe the decline will happen in our lifetimes.

None of us can predict that, but I import food for a living so I see us regularly losing out to EU countries who don’t have the same barriers to trade (e.g. The olive and sunflower shortages in the last couple of years that have made prices skyrocket here, but not in mainland Europe). It will be gradual, and we will suffer a painful decline long before other countries in mainland Europe (it’s already happening, but is only really noticeable to regular folks in terms of pricing at the moment).

It will be slow enough that we will see our country decline and suffer shortages whilst other countries are still prospering, and it will be in our lifetimes.

As we get more and more crop shortages, the UK will be (because it already is) the last on the list of countries that other states in the EU want to export to, due to the additonal time and cost of exporting to us. When we’re facing food shortages around the world, the UK will suffer before others.

It’s already happening, it will be gradual rather than instantaneous, and we will be the first to suffer.

It makes us the least appealing country to export food to, when countries can sell to their neighbours more cheaply and quickly due to zero customs fees or procedures.

So many of my suppliers just stopped exporting to the UK.

Trans women no longer have the same protections as cis women, so this ruling literally does do that.

We don’t have any evidence of a significant part of the population feeling that they are chickens, yet we do have evidence of trans people existing for as long as humans have. Your argument isn’t based on fact.

It isn’t about style. Women’s sizes (e.g. 8, 10, 12) originally came from codes based on the variations between hip, waist and bust measurements.

Generally, women are going to have boobs and wider hips and men generally have bigger feet. Obviously there’s a massive spectrum of human body shapes, but this is the main differentiation.

If I wear my (male) partner’s t-shirts, they’re just straight with no space for boobs and they don’t come in at the waist. Same with trousers, there’s a massive pouch in the crotch, too narrow on my hips and too loose at the waist. People like to wear things that best fit their bodies.

Yeah I used to have one, I only replaced it when the battery started going. I loved that phone, it was solid yet so light! I have a 6a now which is great but so much heavier than the 4a.

Yeah they’re not doing it for 4a, Google might offer you a voucher to replace your phone.
