No, not really. Personally, think that friendships are very shallow these days. Only a handful of people or even less can be truly called friends that would be there for you when you genuinely them.
I’ve seen countless of times where people with several friends (or a lot) are left in the dust after two people in the friendships have a conflict or they are friends “only in the fun times”. This was also before the internet took off.

Nazi-Germany which was and is a far-right party definitely claimed they are special. Remember the whole thing about “Aryan” race and how the others are inferior while the Aryan suppose to be superior.
Likud party from Israel which is far-right are claiming they are the superior too and that others suppose to be inferior.
AFD from Germany which leans to Nazism also claim they are the superior.
White supremacy which usually is within the far-right parties very often (if not always) lean to being “superior” over the others.

I have been trying to understand what makes people lean so much into the right wing but, I don’t really get it.
For example the hot topic of immigrants, the right wing is blaming it all on them. However, not every problem is because of immigrants and neither will these problems suddenly be solved when the people are out of said country.
The entire thing against LGBTQ and/ or people of color does not make sense either. Pushing minority groups away just brings more hatred and will lead to violence. Eventually it will even lead to their own misery once they do not fit their “ideal person”.
Same thing regards other religion than their own, it’ll lead to more hatred, violence and eventually their own misery once they do not fit their ideal kind of religion person.
Not only that but history has shown what political far-right does and from what I have read, it is nothing really good. I mean just look to 1930-1945 Germany and Italy with Mussolini.

I consider Israel as the new Nazi-Germany but then in Modern Times. Everything they say and do aligns with the Nazi ideology.
Especially their government, political people and their voters.
I mainly use(d) Reddit for Piracy content (Piracy, PiratedGames, Steam Deck Pirates etc). When the migrate happened, saw they made a Piracy Lemmy instance and just joined that.
Can’t speak for others but I take few day-old accounts and their opinions with a grain of salt. Often it happens that it is just a troll to bait other people.

No, not really. An account/ profile is just that. An account to use to interact with said platform.
Especially on centralized platforms like Reddit, Instagram and such. It just means nothing. Your “karma” on Reddit means nothing, can be manipulated etc. Account can be banned for no reason. Similar on any other platform.
Neither do I use any of these platforms for friends. I keep the accounts private from my usual real life. If I want to keep in touch with someone, it’ll usually be through WhatsApp.
If I lose for example the Reddit or Instagram account. That’s okay. Sucks but okay. These platforms are filled with trash and moderated by trash (including the actual CEOs).
