It’s because they are “woke” even a lot of the official government documents literally say as much. Woke climate change research. Woke vaccines. Woke gender ideology. They all have to go. We are VERY rapidly approaching the situation where science in general of any kind is too woke to have in this country. Id argue we’re basically already there.
This is a strange take. Just because they blatantly skirt (or take a big fat dump on) the law and ignore their own hypocrisy routinely certainly doesn’t mean it’s useless or stupid to continually point it out.
Not saying it’s the case with these people but you can definitely be a huge loser without people being mean to you.
I used to live in a town that did something very similar to this. It sorta worked but mostly did not. But as another commenter pointed out you need more than just homes. Obviously they help a ton but a lot of people need more help than just a roof over their head. Financially, medically, mentally, employment… It’s a bigger, more complicated problem.
But it goes without saying that this is a step in the right direction and absolutely better than collectively shrugging our shoulders and walking away.

I kinda agree. I think the much bigger story would be the fact that he’s threatening a singular company with a specific tariff of they don’t do what he likes. I don’t even think that’s legal, especially without congressional approval tho I could be wrong. In any case if we start going down the road of picking and choosing which specific companies get to have tariffs or not we are going to fly so fast down the slippery slope of corruption my ass will break the sound barrier
Yeah but, like, how would we even do that? Magic carpets? Flying horses? It’s just an unsolvable problem unless you had some sort of magical system of mythical vessels that took large groups of people where they needed to go reliably that was easy to use but that’s bordering on communism and is incredibly woke. Its just not possible!
Lmao I love this take. Must be a skill issue. I don’t have a problem with the parry window or the difficulty parrying. It’s fine. The issue I have is that there is absolutely no strategy in the game so far besides, parry/dodge and counter attack. No skills matter at all, no proccing, no synergy, no need to even think about elemental weaknesses. Everything just comes down to whether or not you can parry/dodge.
Again, this may change as I’m only a few hours in but it is surprising (imo) in a game like this to see none of that matter really at all.
Im pretty early into the game so my opinion might change but I simply cannot believe how important dodging and parrying is to the outcome of pretty much any battle. I cannot survive any battle without dodging or parrying pretty much every single attack. Id say I get one-shot by like 75% of enemies I face and can survive at most 3 hits from everything else. I literally never have used Gustaves overcharge at full charge because I haven’t had a fight last long enough to fill it up. I either parry and counter attack to win. Or can’t time it right and die instantly. There’s virtually no in between so far.
Again, this might change later and maybe the difficulty is the problem (I’m trying it on expert) but I’m genuinely surprised at how vital it is to dodge and parry so far. Every fight just comes down to whether or not I can dodge every attack. Still liking the game and all but dang, kinda rough gameplay.

I mean I guess this might be conspiracy territory (although at this point I feel he’s pretty much completely admitted as much through his whole “I am become meme” cringe persona) but I feel like it’s pretty clear he knew exactly what he was doing at the inauguration and just did it as a “lol watch what edgy thing I’m gonna do… and they won’t do a thing about it” and he was 8 billion percent right. Nobody did a damn thing.
It has the market absolutely cornered in background napping material tho. God I can nap so hard to golf.
It’s so odd to me. Him as a person is easily the biggest reason I dislike him (and it’s a long list). But I’ve spoken to multiple people about that very thing and have gotten some truly odd responses. I’ve been told that they wouldn’t want their children to grow up and be like him. That they wouldn’t want to work for him as a boss. That they wouldn’t trust the things that he says. And that they wouldn’t want their family or friends to behave the same way as far as the trash talking and being… very liberal with the truth.
But somehow, he’s still the best president we’ve ever had and an amazing, strong, intelligent person. They trust his decisions and think he’s the perfect man for the job of fostering foreign relations. I simply cannot make heads or tails of this. It’s like people somehow have lower standards for the president of the United States as a friend, family member, or coworker.
Don’t forgot he’s been just incredibly big headed, disrespectful, and an insufferable jag off to pretty much every single person that doesn’t worship the ground he walks on. How someone can be that mean and rude to just about everyone, then call foul when people don’t like him and STILL have people confused why so many people act negatively towards him is so damn annoying.

It’s one thing to just say you don’t like something. It’s another to say you’re going to take a specific action as a direct result of them.
Random question, but when you have an image like this with a ton of that fuzzy noise stuff and then you try to put an image into it without any fuzzy noise crap, what’s the best way to do it? Basically, how do you match noise when compositing images?
I’ve found some ways to do it online that are decent but it almost always comes out different. Like you can usually totally tell the image doesn’t belong there.
And on top of all that, even if somehow you could justify foregoing due process, the dude STILL can’t legally be sent to El Salvador because of his withholding of removal to that country which I’m pretty sure is what the"administrative error" was that the white house admitted lol.
From your experience, why do you think that is? Mostly social media? If so, what about it? Bad parenting? The whole Covid remote stuff? Is it economically driven? Are the schools doing anything differently that could cause it?
I watched this Maher thing and I really don’t get why anyone cares at all. He basically said trump wasn’t a giant douche in person like he is on tv and online. And I totally believe that. Does that really surprise anyone? He’s 100% the type of guy that would smile to your face and say your great and then talk mad shit behind your back. Call your mother a whore on truth social and then the second you see him he’d say he regretted it or it’s fake news or he didn’t actually mean it. I mean just look at zelensky, he talked MAAAAAD shit online for like weeks leading up to that and when they finally met he was asked “why did you call president zelensky a dictator?” And Trump’s answer? “Did I say that? I can’t believe I said that. Next question.”
So yeah, I totally buy that he’d be mild mannered and even reasonable in private with some people. But once you turn your back or if he has a little army of ass kissers with him he will immediately change his tune. I feel like everyone has met a guy like that.
This is one of the most glaring problems with tariffs. Companies raise their prices and the tariff becomes basically a tax on the people. But within that is hidden the fact that gigantic companies can often hold off on raising prices because they have the money to deal with it in the short term and the massive markets to pull in discounted prices from suppliers. The result is humongous businesses like Walmart keep their prices low through the tariffs while your mom and pop shop down the street has no choice but to raise prices or go out of business cause they don’t have the kind of margins bigger companies do. They raise their prices, everyone flocks to huge businesses like Walmart who kept their prices lower, then mom and pop close up shop cause they aren’t selling anything at the higher prices. Then Walmart can do whatever they want cause they just tagged tariffs into the ring and murdered the competition. Tariffs have their place but they largely suck ass in a multitude of ways.
