Work has been so stressful and demanding that I haven’t really had the time or energy to paint minis. I managed to paint 2 ribbons and highlight some armor, and I also started painting a face which I’m very bad at. All in all, maybe 1h of hobbying broken up into 20 min bits here and there.

This guy’s videos. He has the perfect cadence and voice for it, and the right video length too. To be perfectly honest I have no idea if the content of the videos is good, but they’re very useful.

Putting stuff in a calendar. Now that I’ve started doing it, I’m not sure how people live without it. I have too much stuff going on to remember exactly when things are happening and some of them are scheduled weeks or months in advance. Everything has to go in the calendar app. For things that are further out, I set reminders one week and one day before. Other than that, I also check at the start of every week, and ofc I check whenever I need to schedule something.

Ngl I watched the video and it really seemed to me like Jack Black said “thank you” as a way to smile and nod and move on. Regardless of whether or not he thinks it, whether he agrees, whether he’s said it in private, whether he’s a democrat, he’s not the one who said it. What do people expect him to have done? Call off the show then and there, scold his bandmate on what’s politically acceptable to say?

It was absolutely the wrong thing to say and Gass is reaping what he sowed, but it sucks to see Jack Black catch so much shit by association. I don’t think he played it wrong. He broke up the band, man. What else does he have going on?

It’s enough to compliment them on whatever is new. New shoes, new haircut, new shirt, new tattoo, etc.

I’m genuinely shocked that people drink more wine than beer in Denmark. Considering Tuborg and Carlsberg both come from there, and the amount of beer I see people drink publicly, it seems genuinely doubtful to me.

NSFW has become code for porn, effectively. My friend and I use NSFO for ‘not porn, maybe not even nudity, but not necessarily appropriate for the office’. Maybe that’s what we need. A second filter.

It’s a decent ui, some weirdness here and there, with new comment highlighting for example. It didn’t play in its entirety but it did start and I closed the app anyway to save data.
