You’re right, this was more common in the warez days. Nowadays, I generally trust Pirates. If you’re stupid and download a game from some rando site, and not a trusted repacker then you deserve what happens.

I’ve switched a few friends to Linux and whenever they have trouble running a game outside steam, I just send them this. Hasn’t failed yet. While I, like many other Linux users enjoy scrolling through logs: this is easier.
I liked lattes so I bought a Nespresso, I’d never been into coffee or caffeinated beverages period. I normally do full sized bars considering how many people we get on average. I normally buy them at Costco Business and it looks like they’re still priced the same. Prices at regular Costco are similar to what I remember of last year too.

I installed Mint on my buddies computer yesterday and the install defaulted to ext4, and then had the audacity to have “Enable Backups” in the welcome dialog and only have RSYNC available.
It gave me the option to do my own partitions during setup but every time I clicked the link to do so the installer would hang. My buddy started getting nervous so I just left it on default. But I was very annoyed that I couldn’t easily just switch to BTRFS.
I was there last month looking for some safety shoes to replace my redwing boots as I’ve changed roles in my company and don’t need 8" boots anymore. They didn’t have any shoes in stock because they were partnering with New Balance for their fall lineup of safety shoes. I couldn’t wait, so I picked up an ultra light 6" boot that I’m pretty happy with. Still fucking expensive though.

Every single game Larian made would come out on steam in early access, and always with an early access price. When BG3 hit early access with a released game price I was pissed. But then I found out that they were making a game with Wizards of the Coast those greedy fuckers so the price made sense. Still waited almost a year after it was released to buy it, because the released game price was higher than every other fully released Larian game. Fuck WotC and Fuck Hasbro.

I was in Ecuador recently, Quito which is 9350ft. The second the plane door opened, I felt it. Leaving the plane the air was so thin I could barely stand up. The altitude sickness was alot more for me than “being tired”. And I had started altitude sickness pills 2 days before my flight.
My company closed its Scarborough location, they opened a new plant in Hamilton. I was going to commute to the new plant. Everyone, including upper management told me how stupid that was. We have to run our logistics during the night because the truck drivers refused to drive in traffic during the day. Truck drivers… How bad is the traffic if truck drivers are refusing
Panda’s being the exception there. My wife is Chinese and it’s in their DNA that they have to love Panda’s. We have so many stuffed animal Panda’s and she has unique names for them all and I’ve been forced to create unique voices for every one of them. Her friend gave her a big panda stuffy and she named him snuggles and since we’re not planning to have kids, and she doesn’t like dogs or cats. I’m forced to provide voiceover for the panda named Snuggles.
