He made a joke saying he wished the assassination attempt on Trump was successful. I think you’re down playing that by just calling it a joke. I think it’s fine to hate Trump, but as a public figure it’s probably not a great idea to encourage assassination attempts on an ex president.

It does kind of work though. It’s prefacing the meme by telling the reader to imagine that the text represents their point of view.

There are anaerobic bacteria that don’t need oxygen to survive. That was the norm before The Great Oxidation Event when cyanobacteria started releasing oxygen into the atmosphere during photosynthesis. Prior to that there was very little oxygen in the atmosphere, and anaerobic bacteria ruled the world.

After the GOE the high concentration of oxygen killed off most of the anaerobic bacteria, and what was left were organisms that made a blood truce with oxygen. Aerobic organisms gained incredible power from utilizing oxygen for metabolism, but eventually die from the accumulated damage the oxygen does to them.

That sounds like both people are wrong. If one person defaults to anger and the other defaults to lying that sounds like a really unhealthy relationship.

There’s a flip side to this too. First world countries that are completely opposed to immigration are starting to see a significant population decline which will come with a whole host of other problems.

And in the US at least it’s actually extremely difficult to immigrate through legal means. You have to be a qualified professional and generally have to be sponsored by an employer to get a green card, or have family members that are citizens. The main issue is people that abuse loop holes to get into the country without going through the immigration process. And I agree, that’s a problem that needs to be solved. It really does a disservice to the hard working immigrants that work their ass off to become US citizens/permanent residents the legal way.

This is funny, but flat earthers don’t believe in a heliocentric solar system, so it would be lost on them.
