Do we think they’re ever gonna give us DK64?

Gotta clean up, adulting has been tough lately 😮💨 It’s gonna be a rainy one here anyway!

You’re decorating every weekend?? Sounds like fun, like real life Animal Crossing.

I like to watch the McElroy brothers stream The McElroy Family Clubhouse on YouTube. It’s like a fun, casual variety show they film through their webcams. It always gets a laugh out of me.

Sounds like heaven

Oof, sorry to hear that. I hope it turns back around for the better soon!

Full support for NTSC roms, at last!

Nice, playing the long game!

Daytime: Mojito.
Evening: Mojito.

Don’t force it, your hobbies will feel like a chore. Guess how I know.
Totally agree on this. Burnout is real, and hobbies are among the first things to go that that hits. Finding a way to turn hobby time into relaxing “Me” time helps, in my case it meant cutting down my expectations a lot. Working slower and less often, no mental deadlines, and pairing it with a glass of wine and some Star Trek episodes.
Weirdly enough I get more done now, overall.

Yes yes yes yes yes

Nice looks great, I’ll definitely give it a try. Thanks!

That sounds exciting, go boldly!

Seconding Mbmbam, the McElroy brothers are hilarious and always put me in a good mood! Love The Besties too 🎮

How are you liking split fiction?

I really like how crazy this thing is compared to other modern handhelds. That said, I can’t imagine buying one myself. I hope it finds it’s audience!

I completely agree! The immersion you get from reading a book really is the draw for me. It’s more effort for me to get into than other forms of media, but once it gets it’s hooks in me I’m transported somewhere else. I can see, feel, and even smell, all up in my mind. I’m a digital artist by trade so I absolutely appreciate the visual side of media, but the best graphics really are in the imagination.
That’s so cool, your house sounds like a work-of-art in progress and is super rewarding work, I bet. Keep it up!
