Teacher here. I would say that the idea of innocence comes from kids being a blank slate. Kids aren’t typically inherently mean but are heavily affected by their surroundings and who they learn from. It’s not always the same for every kid but bad environment is going to produce a kid that is angry and mean that will lash out at others.

I wouldn’t agree with the idea that schools are cesspools and every kid is awful to each other. Every school is so different and I would say that at my school only 5% of kids are actually mean with malicious intent. Some don’t know better and will learn as they grow and most are genuinely good little people.

The tough part is that my parents are on my Spotify family plan and not tech savvy at all to use anything that I would self host. I know I can patch Spotify app and self host content on my PC but there’s no way they could troubleshoot anything if something broke. For them Spotify works and me not using my own Spotify account isn’t going to accomplish anything even if I disagree with the companies decisions. I like Spotify and would like to keep using it because I have found lots of new music through it but it’s a tough spot. Companies take advantage of users that don’t know how to do anything else.

Walking the family dog after downloading the freshly released Trance Around the World by Above and Beyond weekly podcast onto my iPod is a very nice memory.

Man, I’ve been using it for a long time. I was going to buy the forever sub a while ago and never did. When did it jump to $42. I could’ve sworn it was like 20.

Teacher here. My school uses everything Chrome OS and locks the ability to install extensions or other browsers. It’s not always us.

I haven’t had an episode in a long time but I would try to tell myself to just breathe through it. The moving an extremity would help too. The worse part was that I’d get them in bunches. If one happened I’d have to stay awake for a bit or I’d get them over and over. Thankfully never saw any demons; just a vision of my surroundings but I couldn’t move.

I watched the interview with the kid they, “adopted” and it’s so sad.
