Imagine wearing this without a vagina. I’m sure it will be even more uncomfortable 😂
I once did some fun boxing with a friend of mine. He punched me just in my arm without any effort and it was enough to make me stumble. He is around 10-15cm taller than me, and around 20-30kgs heavier. My arm was blue for weeks.
Weight absolutely matters. It’s simple physics (kinetic energy)
Also you can compensate a lot with training. I‘m also in this picture. But since I do regular cardio, I can run for hours and move my dad body the whole day without getting tired. With a bit of strength training I am able to build some serious invisible strength. I wouldn’t underestimate a guy with a bit of body fat.
And in this specific application (simple resistor as a load) you could even save all the diodes and generate even more heat in the resistor alone instead of also „heating“ the diodes. *
This my most favorite circuit. It’s a very simple and elegant solution doing its job in silence without getting the kudos it deserves.
- I know RL is just a simple generalization for a load.
Do you have resources that teach you the basics of this deprogramming in a pragmatic, fact based way without too much nonsense?
I also resisted to downvote you for the same reason. The willpower cycle continues 😁
I don’t want to sound negative but you’re both very young. If I think back to all the couples we had when we were your age I think all of them aren’t together anymore. I’m not saying you are going to split definitely but it may be very likely. People change a lot when they are growing up with age ~20+. So you may end up with the feeling of wasted time or missed opportunities if you wait a whole year.
Also, everybody should live his own life and solve his own problems. It’s going to get very hard for yourself if you jump in for everything. And your bf won’t learn lessons for his own life and doesn’t get a chance to grow.
I’d say don’t wait. Do your thing, your bf does his thing and you try to have a good time together in your free time 😁

6·9 months agoThat’s definitely not going to happen. One of the few things Windows is doing right is backwards compatibility. Have 30 year old exe? It usually just runs fine. In my experience a lot of business logic relies on this compatibility. It would be stupid from a business standpoint to break this compatibility. It would upset a lot of paying customers.
But wait a second. I’m speaking about Microsoft. All we wanted was a Windows 7 with a modernized GUI. And we got Windows 10 with Cortana, multiple Control panels, redundant settings that contradicted each other. We got Windows 11 with ads everywhere, Copilot, enforced MS accounts and so on.
It would perfectly make sense to switch to Linux. They could fire a lot of devs. I’m sure they would save a lot of money for a couple of seconds.
Obviously they don’t give a shit about customers, so this sounds like a normal thing Microsoft could do for short term gains.
Without using fancy components: Just simply adding a 6.2 and a 2400 Ohm resistor in parallel already gives you 6.18402 Ohm ⚡️

1·9 months agoThat’s not correct. You can just walk into a shop, show some papers, pay ~3,5k€ and buy a H&K MR308 or some other semi auto rifle if you like.
But getting this privilege costs quite a bit of work and money: You have to go to a hunting school, learn a lot of stuff, prove that you’ve really learned everything, show you are able to use weapons in a safe manner, prove your ability to shoot etc. Also you get screened by the police on a regular basis. And if you ever get in serious trouble with the law the chances are high you’ll lose everything.
So it’s not like in other countries, that basically having at least one finger is enough to operate a Gatling gun in your backyard 😉

2·10 months agoIt’s way too much. The value in this case is so high because it’s an old historic firearm.
With modern production capabilities you can buy brand new rifles for ~1000€ or handguns for a couple or 100€s. They just shoot as straight, if not better. Modern assault rifles cost around 1500-5000€s the last time I checked. Without full auto mode though, because they are illegal for civilians here in Germany (no civilian needs an assault rifle IMO). But technically/price wise I imagine the difference to be negligible between the two variants.
But some weapons from that period were masterpieces. Back then they had more or less only manually operated machines that needed a lot of experience and skill. A Mauser 98 for example can still be bought as a new weapon today. A century old design built today costs 10000€ upwards.

The creepiness increases tenfold when you encounter one for the first time and it is as scared of you then you are scared of it. Those little guys are very fast.
When I learned that they are harmless to us humans I started to tolerate them. I mean they really try to get out of our way.

I never thought about this before. But you could absolutely drown in a huge water bubble surrounding your head in space.
