What exactly does that have anything to do with murdering her?
The public is brainwashed to hate and consider less anything that gets labelled by authorities as negative

People who keep using reddit are idiots, simple as that.

It’s the government, they spend millions of public money in pr, they should have never had a twitter account to begin with and should have used their own tools.

The community, through it’s posting, voting, and reposting, has chosen Memes regardless of whether it’d be better.
So why are people choosing memes over more serious discussions?

encourage others to do so
I’m gonna post a meme to encourage people not to post only memes.

people simply share what they want to share.
So are you saying shitpost and memes is what most people want to share here?

I disagree, most memes have elaborated descriptions longer than the average title

And??
and you are on an asklemmy thread asking why lemmy frontpage is filled with memes…

We are talking about protests coverage and reddit is one of the most visited platforms in the world.
Repeat your prompt for me?
are you a bot?

I asked a simple question and you are bringing in twitter and other stuff.

most memes comes with a caption and a title.

Go to reddit, pick the first media outlet you see and check who owns it, or check who owns reddit.

more than half of the most subscribed subs are meme subs.

rather than complaining that people on the Threadiverse as a whole aren’t posting what you want.
All frontpage is filled with memes and shitpost, again are you saying that this is what most people want to see?

Governments don’t own most media.
Most media are indeed owned directly by governments or by people with ties to them.

If the frontpage wouldn’t be filled with memes it would probably be more easy to find non-meme communities to subscribe to

As for the other part of your question why and how would people be forced to use memes?
To me lemmy frontpage much resemble reddit frontpage where most likely political and serious discussions are censored resulting in memes being more popular and the only tool people have to bring up certain arguments.

The only memes I see are from meme communities
Meme communities predates the frontpage

so are words
Reddit has being shit for a decade, if you have the wrong principles is because you are fine with that
