It was my sabbatical, and be really smug when you say it, like I’m better than you.

Yeah in the Netherlands nobody would even try to park in a buslane or bicycle path, because you’d either get a fine or you will be towed and that we’ll probably cost you 350 euros or more.
I don’t know how this works in the US, but where I live after a year subscription (let’s say for your internet provider or something). They can only renew per month. So if the year subscription is over you can cancel any service every month and they can’t hit you with any fees.
Back in the day if you’d forgot to cancel your plan you’d be stuck with them for another year. It sucked!

Like how a Tesla would be full self driving in 2014 but next year, or that amazing truck that would be the end game for every company moving stuff, or the new roadster from 2017

Having 0 experience doing something makes you a n00b by default.

Not literally, but way too much, and I didn’t even realize how often I grabbed my phone without even thinking about it.

But even if there is no kill switch, they still need American hardware and software upgrades and maintenance. So America can always decide just not to support it anymore.
I recently got a small basked a little larger than my phone. I put my phone in it when I get home from work. It’s a good example for my kids and it helps me to actually be present with my kids instead of being on my phone half of the time.
I really hate services that use 2FA but the app runs on your phone. Like the android app for ms teams still wants me to enter a 2FA code that I recieve on the same phone! This adds zero extra security, the teams app should just directly ask for my fingerprint if that is even necessary.

There is a real chance Russia at some point attacks, I don’t think they will drop a nuke any time. But they might try to sabotage the electricity network or financial system. So if a large (cyber) attack happens my family has enough for 3 days, a week if we have to.
Off course I knew this, but it still blew my mind a little.

My supermarket sells these and they are superior to all other frozen pizzas I had.
My goto frozen pizza “hack”, just get the cheapest most basic pizza margherita, skip known brands and go for the housebrand/offbrand.
Buy some quality toppings and add them, like a spicey salami, aged cheese, etc.

The last thing he wants is protests from Moskou etc. The average person from Moskou hadn’t had that much negative effects from the war yet. But if you, your son or father is forced to the battlefield it’s a different story.
