Yes and no, the main factor are bubbles. Even for the most asshole opinions you can probably find the right bubble where you aren’t shunned for it but get affirming reactions. Algorithms do significantly ease the formation of bubbles but are ultimately not required for it

I can only recommend against buying Xiaomi phones because they are shitty by design. My parents have Xiaomi phones and there are ads everywhere, including in the standard system apps.

For example: The vanilla files app is hidden and you can only use it if you know what you’re doing and dig it up. Instead you have Xiaomi’s file manager app that not only lacks many features, but has the audacity to be infested with apps. When you start the app, you will get a full screen ad and can only continue to the proper app after a few seconds and even then there are banner ads still.

If you install apps manually from apks, some Xiaomi app scanner launches to scan the apk. I doubt the scanner is effective or does anything useful, but it’s yet another opportunity to show full screen ads.

That one was a reissue of the original GameCube controller with the original connector and everything. It works on the original GameCube and Wii and with the USB adapter that was released with it, you can use it or any other GameCube controller on the WiiU, Switch and maybe even Switch 2.
