There’s a thing going around on Facebook saying that if violence starts, you should just sit down in place. If all of the actual protesters do that, it’ll be pretty obvious the violence is coming from provacateurs.

Blue Cross denied my claim for coverage of therapy ($125/week) because the address is clearly not a business address. Yes, that’s right, my therapist operates from her home, which is a horse farm. So does this mean BC doesn’t cover any home offices? Or is it just ones that have “ranch” in the address?

We’ll see! I’ve filed a grievance challenging the denial. I’m looking at around $6000 for the year if they persist.

My divorce. I didn’t even realize that my ex-wife was abusive until getting into the divorce process. Once I got away and started to understand, I began to take some of my power back and develop even more. I went from terrified of her to strong and confident.

Using YNAB’s sinking funds helped me get out of my considerable divorce debt. They’re like envelopes you put money into ahead of time, for every single category/thing you want to spend on or save for.

• If you need to spend more than is in the envelope, you must transfer from another envelope first

• If a bill is higher than expected, transfer money from another envelope

• If you want to make an impulse purchase that doesn’t fit an envelope, make mine and transfer money in from an existing one

And so on. It’s a great system, and I continue to use it even though I’m now debt free, except for my monthly bills and car lease payment.
