You want to turn of your baseload when there is enough cheap wind and solar energy… Like that’s the whole point of baseload
When and where? Nuclear is very very expensive. Nuclear doesn’t work well as baseload since while you can turn it off rather quickly you can’t turn it back on fast when it’s needed again

No, nuclear is awful as a baseline since you can’t turn it off and back on quickly

Your society might have in mine a 14 year old can consent and it wouldn’t be considered rape in that case, still a crime though.

Of course a different system would have different opportunities. You just won’t have that before a progressive movement is in power.
I really don’t get the calls for a new party in the US lately. You’ve seen how to get a new movement win in a two party system with the tea party. A complete new party would just split the vote.

Haven’t seen that once.
That works against renewable resources, which should provide 100% or more during normal days. Which would mean you have to take off wind turbines from the net to keep nuclear going, that makes investing in wind less attractive.
