Just leaving a feedback comment about the replies on this thread: I am surprised that people in this community disliked such a breakthrough in AI technology.

The person in this video already has access and demonstrates how this new technology works. He is not just a random youtuber. He actively delves into AI news and even studies research papers.
It’s strange how a post with a score of -15 (at the time of this comment) stays on top in a Lemmy community.

I tried right now. It answered “Hypocrite.” sometimes, but also give other answers. I couldn’t get the spelling error again though.

But seriously, you can try it too. Download the LLaMA 3 model using the Ollama program. I am using Open WebUI as a frontend. I got this answer most of the times I asked.
edit: Wow, you are right, there’s a spelling error in that answer. Rare event, I don’t see this every day.
Not really AI translation…
I can’t say if the author used any translation tool, but it definitely wasn’t an LLM. This particular comic strip was published well before ChatGPT was released.
The English version of that comic strip is published on the author’s domain (https://english.umsabadoqualquer.com/). He chose to place the comics written in English within his own subdomain.
