I do feel we need more users, but not just users. It’s “niche” users we need. There’s a lot of techies on the threadiverse (Lemmy, PieFed, Mbin), but not enough people who care about other stuff.
So communities outside that, struggle to thrive.

I guess more people will be able to try it out now, but it’s still a waste of money imho.
Is Pebble American? It’s open source, so no sharing of your health data with 3. parties.
You can run Roblox on Linux with “Sober”.

I was lazy and just took the short version. It’s alright.

For the redirect from YouTube to PeerTube, it just uses the video title. This sometimes results in a “false positive”, but it does work.
You can try it with “The Linux Experiment”.

Yes, Spectra runs PeerTube.

PeerTube suffers from a lot of defragmentation. Only a few instances federates with a lot of other instances.
With Lemmy or Mastodon, you can almost pick any instance and still be able to federate with anyone.

Are you sure it’s decentralised? Last time I checked you could just install your own server, but servers are not interconnected.

Maybe they are just really arrogant and want to see how far they can go? They can literally say anything, despite what video evidence shows and people are still believing them.

I’m not surprised, but I thought body cams was mandatory in the US.

Do ICE not use body cams?
It was a bit buggy when I used it. If I joined a group, I was not able to leave the group again. As soon as someone would write in the group, I would rejoin it automatically.

I don’t really think so, no.
Edit: That it’s confusing

My point about “niche” is that from the current perspective, the niche communities is the more regular ones, because at the moment, the majority of users here is technical. We need more ordinary users, not just more users.
