People, let’s dowload the entirery of the thing while it still has some degree of credibility.
European guy, weird by default.
You dislike what I say, great. Makes the world a more interesting of a place. But try to disagree with me beyond a downvote. Argue your point. Let’s see if we can reach a consensus between our positions.

I don’t disagree. As little as that may seem or be, comercial agreements already carry a lot with them. The demand for standards alone implies a good deal of common ground.
The dogs I have at home would strongly disagree with you.
They will look up at me and judge me if I am not reading their mind to satisfy their wishes of food, my food to them, walks or pets.
Fruit, in particular, will earn me pleading/accusing stares, followed by paw strikes to my legs.
What they won’t do is stare down on me. I can’t lie on the ground. That gets me licks and growls to get me off the floor. They will get stressed and even bark and growl at each other if I’m on the floor.
Human down is a no-no.
Either I pick you up or rotate your head.
I would rather do the first. The second can incurr in serious harm.
I’ve raised pigs and seen wild boars do the exact same thing in order to “look up”: they sit, in order to elevate their angle of vision.
Humans can’t look behind themselves. The neck does not rotate that far. The solution: the entire body rotates.

It’s close to the perfect time. But coming back will not be easy.

What kind of shits require nuclear power to be pushed out, mate? You’re getting me worried. Been having your fibers?

So this already exists. That tells me they were already aware the AI was not that popular.

Isn’t there a method to access only the non AI search? I read someone on that here.
A visible weapon generates discomfort. Unless on a police agent, nobody likes to see a gun here. It’s a threat. Hence the default for concealed carry.

I’m not in the US. I’m not american.
Would I do something if I was there? Yes, I would. I find no satisfaction in seeing people die because of their skin colour, their ethnicity, their gender or sexual preference, their beliefs or lack of or for what they think and take as better for all.
If it is not for you, americans, living in your country, to put everything at stake to change something, anything, no one will. And if someone decides to do so, then it will not be to defend the people.
My country took down a fascist regime 50 ago. One of my grandfathers was part of the political police then. I know the kind of people that gets recruited to such organizations. I know how those people think about themselves or others. I don’t want to see anyone go through that, ever again. Anywhere.
We are human beings, not cattle, not numbers on a spreadsheet or a name on a piece of paper to be crossed out.
People have died, are dying and will die until your people, your country, decides it is enough and ends the madness that as taken over. And that may call and cause even more loss of human lives. But you are not slaves.

Allow me to share this with you.
It was quite the eye opening. Broke more than a few thought and reasoning barriers for me. Hope it can do the same for you.
I understand what you are saying. It’s the exact same modus operandi. They all read from the same book. I’m expecting my country to take a hard right in three years, with the next electoral cycle.
I respect every single word you are saying but you have to do something. Again, resorting to guns and violence will be even worst.
I can’t believe I’m saying what I’m thinking but you need to start from the bottom and start disregarding popular demands and instead enact forceful change, even if it hurts. Get organized to take strategic places without resorting to force and then just do things that actually do better, for all.
I’d start now, going from street to street, making a list of what is wrong, broken or failling and start budgeting. Make people wonder what I’m doing and talk with them. Never asking for support. Just making myself be seen.

Can I take your reply for future reference? Because I have the same small government/lower taxes platform gainning traction around my parts.
I respect your take. Is it easy? No. Granted. But what is the option? Civil war? It’s not. It is the last, direst option to be taken.
Aren’t civil movements a thing? Citizen groups for running to political office?
And if people want more, they have to understand they either have to pay for it (Taxes! The price of civilization!) or they need to come up with a solution.
We take critics from who do it better, not from those that say they know it better.

That was to the point and blunt.
But it is easy to understand the reasoning.
Let’s keep in mind how that society is geared: everyone is an asset to be exploited yet everyone person is out for themselves.
Even if someone does not see themselves as individualist, the mindset is there. And (trying to) apologize comes as a natural option: “I did not do it; don’t take it on me. Blame someone else.”
Americans need to make something for themselves. And I don’t mean by taking up guns and go to the streets.
Oust politians. Pressure all levels of government. Make the country, on all levels, ingovernable. Break the system.
There’s a sizeable diaspora of russians in my country. There was an anti-regime protest a few years ago where many were seen destroying their russian passport.
Nobody was against their position. Russians are not by default feared in any way, here. I hope that is the same in many other places.
If you feel you are not well where you are, leave. Nobody owes anything to their country; it’s the opposite. Strive for a different life elsewhere. Don’t be afraid to speak of what drove you out. Teach others where it went wrong, so they can prevent it in their own land.
You are not a traitor. You are not a country’s property.

My friend, may that dark period of time end soon in your country, and I will gladly show you what proper wine is. And it is not from France.

This just happened. Could not ask for better.
And now, for the obligatory drivel:
I live in one of the countries where more guns are owned and kept by civilians in Europe and the times I’ve seen one, it was on a police officer belt or on a museum.
Portugal (I was surprised when I learned this) has a lot of guns in civilian hands, mostly small handguns and hunting rifles, mostly shotguns and carabines.
The average hunter - I live in a somewhat rural area - stores guns empty, with trigger locks in place. And having more than one gun requires a gun safe, that is routinely inspected by police. Handguns have to be stored in lock boxes or safes unloaded. Ammunition must be stored separately and outside a minimal range of the guns.
Secret storage compartments are forbidden. Open carry is forbidden. Concealed carry is mostly standard here but manifesting it, with no reason, is a serious crime.
Gun violence is not rampant here, regardless what sensationalist news outlets and social networks desinformation campaigns try to do.
Most people never see a gun their entire life and if confronted with one will instantly call the police for safe removal.
So… I appreciate this kind of topic but it always strikes me as unnecessary for the average reality.

They ask, we answer. Not answering is the worst thing to do.
