I think one will probably be found, but it won’t be hardware level like the Switch 1, so it will get patched.

Games@lemmy.world•Mini Metro -- surprisingly simple but compelling game mechanics and fantastic UI designEnglish
1·9 months agoI wish Mini Motorways was on Android. I like it a lot better than Mini Metro, but it’s the kind of game I want to play on my phone. Goddamn Apple Arcade exclusivity deals :(

3·9 months agoI don’t think we know the specs yet, it might be way more powerful than the Steam Deck. I agree though that the Steam Deck is a better value considering the amount of games and their prices.

Games@lemmy.world•GOG seems to be considering paid membership optionEnglish
1·9 months agoI hope they’re not seriously considering locking option 2 behind a paywall. IMO that should be a required feature for all platforms, and should be free. If I buy a game at a specific version, I should always be able to play that version.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Do y'all use "apps" or just the mobile version of websites?
4·1 year agoApp if I use it often, website for everything else. The UI is usually better in the app. Many mobile websites are a pain to use. Plus I have a system-wide ad blocker

5·1 year agoThey’re claiming that they’ll still support it, and this is an “alternative” to Arc browser. But I think I’m just gonna assume that they’re not going to add new features to it anymore. Besides, I just don’t have faith in them anymore after this pivot from out of nowhere that nobody wanted.
I mean, come on, it has to be Minecraft. One of the most influential games of all time. There really is nothing like it
Oh yeah, AskReddit went to shit a while ago. It used to be my favourite subreddit, but it changed about 5 years ago I think.

Hmm, yeah pixie sticks seems similar. I don’t see anything mentioning pixie sticks being fizzy, though, so that’s probably the main difference

I agree that the 30% cut is too much. The only reason I give them a pass is because Steam is really good (at least, as a user). But I still want them to lower it.
