Conservatives•House Approves Trump Budget Blueprint After Winning Over GOP HoldoutsEnglish
11·9 months agoHe doesn’t have to be, but economy is pretty important and more debt, causing uncertainty and promoting less trade is not the solution. What was he thinking - start a trade-war with “the world”. 😅

Conservatives•House Approves Trump Budget Blueprint After Winning Over GOP HoldoutsEnglish
11·9 months agoI’m fine with DOGE, smaller government, free speech, less ‘woke’ culture, and lower taxes, but I don’t understand why everyone still seems to support Trump no matter what he does. He’s clearly mishandling trade and continuing the spending spree

Conservatives•Reuters News: Trump threatens additional tariffs on China, terminates talksEnglish
11·9 months agoWill be interesting to see where this ends. Probably not well.

Conservatives•Americans deliver shock verdict on Trump's new tariffs: approval rating rose to 53 percent, a 4-point increase!English
11·9 months agoI agree with Thomas Sowell on this one. Tariffs are taxes. Only positive if it is a short term negotiating tactic, but negative if he really wants to fix something you don’t have to fix (trade deficits).

Conservatives•Donald Trump's approval rating is actually rising with DemocratsEnglish
2·9 months agoI am not surprised. Socialists like taxes and tariffs are taxes.

Conservatives•AG Pam Bondi Seeks Death Penalty for Luigi MangioneEnglish
11·9 months agoThreatening with the death penalty might prevent copy-cat behavior. Left is out of control.

Conservatives•Attorney General Pam Bondi directs federal prosecutors to seek death penalty for Luigi MangioneEnglish
11·9 months agoPersonally I am not a big fan of death penalties. There are too many examples of people that have been sentenced by mistake. OTOH - if anyone deserves it - it is this guy.

31·9 months agoNo respect for property. That basically sums up the left wing philosophy

1·10 months agoWho cares who she is as long as she gets the work done. Meritocracy

Conservatives•New EPA guidance says spending items greater than $50,000 must get approval from DOGEEnglish
1·10 months agoWill probably be a lot of spending items for $49,999 then. You can’t trust bureaucrats with taxpayers money. Not even $1

Conservatives•Jobs Report Shows DOGE Cuts Beginning to Take EffectEnglish
3·10 months agoYou basically only need government for security/army. Almost everything can be done by the private sector (yes, even roads). From that perspective Argentina is more interesting than the US. I think Milei will push this agenda further than Trump.

Conservatives•DOGE slashes entire government agency with average salary of $131,000 a year to just ONE staff memberEnglish
2·10 months agoYes - I don’t get it that people are defending this kind of spending.

Conservatives•Trump names five cryptocurrencies he expects to include in new US strategic reserveEnglish
11·10 months agoI’ve got some bitcoin too, but I was most surprised about Cardona. Didn’t expect other than BTC/ETH to be part of the reserve.

Conservatives•Zelensky: End of War with Russia is 'very, very far away' - BreitbartEnglish
31·10 months agoHard for an outsider to form an opinion. In the west is mostly propaganda or folks are so biased they don’t want to listen to another side. I was against the proxy war since day one, not because I like the Russians - it was clear from the start this could only be solved by negotiations. Even mentioning something that obvious will make you an outcast in most EU countries. It is indeed fucked up.

Conservatives•DOGE Terminates Tree-Planting Grant for Low-Income CommunitiesEnglish
31·10 months agoThat is basically the answer to all the stuff DOGE eliminates and the Democrats are furious about. If you really think something is important, pay for it yourself.

Conservatives•DOGE Terminates Tree-Planting Grant for Low-Income CommunitiesEnglish

Conservatives•Zelensky: End of War with Russia is 'very, very far away' - BreitbartEnglish
11·10 months agoSo you think he doesn’t have a lot of support anymore in Ukraine? In the news coverage in our country they basically think everyone supports him and he is the legitimate president. In the EU he is almost worshiped.

Great, just subscribed - I am not a conservative (lean more to libertarian) but I really think the left is cancer in our society. It spreads and destroys. They think they are the good guys, but they aren’t.
The more they are challenged the better - even if I don’t agree with a lot of MAGA policies.
