Great, just subscribed - I am not a conservative (lean more to libertarian) but I really think the left is cancer in our society. It spreads and destroys. They think they are the good guys, but they aren’t.

The more they are challenged the better - even if I don’t agree with a lot of MAGA policies.

He doesn’t have to be, but economy is pretty important and more debt, causing uncertainty and promoting less trade is not the solution. What was he thinking - start a trade-war with “the world”. 😅

I’m fine with DOGE, smaller government, free speech, less ‘woke’ culture, and lower taxes, but I don’t understand why everyone still seems to support Trump no matter what he does. He’s clearly mishandling trade and continuing the spending spree

I agree with Thomas Sowell on this one. Tariffs are taxes. Only positive if it is a short term negotiating tactic, but negative if he really wants to fix something you don’t have to fix (trade deficits).

Personally I am not a big fan of death penalties. There are too many examples of people that have been sentenced by mistake. OTOH - if anyone deserves it - it is this guy.

You basically only need government for security/army. Almost everything can be done by the private sector (yes, even roads). From that perspective Argentina is more interesting than the US. I think Milei will push this agenda further than Trump.

Hard for an outsider to form an opinion. In the west is mostly propaganda or folks are so biased they don’t want to listen to another side. I was against the proxy war since day one, not because I like the Russians - it was clear from the start this could only be solved by negotiations.
