4·1 year agoJesus wouldn’t accept it from the entire conversation we had, someone else even chiming in. Next time look it up yourself if you don’t believe anything instead of shoving refusal in everyone’s face until someone finally had enough. Why do I bother.

2·1 year agoACKSUALLY you didn’t. The news writers saw it and told you, I saw it and told you, other people saw it and told you, everyone saw it and told you. You would not accept it. You jumped through every hoop you could and blamed everyone else to not accept it. Ciao.

26·1 year agoThe alert popped up on the phone with the link, which people could not see.
But instead of conveying vital information that could help locate the victim within the notification itself, the law enforcement agency linked to a post from its official X account
Robertson is tapered, so you just have to hit the hole somewhat and it’ll guide itself in real easy. Torx is fickle to line up and orientate.
Never had or seen a stripped Robertson, they are robust AF. Don’t ask me the physics. (They go deep into the screw head because of the simple shape, maybe that has part of it. And they are tapered, it’s not just a square, so they manage to grip the bit like a mofo. You don’t cam out of a Robertson.)
They strip like a mf.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•When leftists say "landlord are parasites" or similar dislike of landlords, do they also mean the people that own like a couple of houses as an investment, or only the big landlords?English
2·1 year agoFor houses? Essentially no one, houses should not be for rent. Apartments in my mind are fine to rent because you can build a fuckton of apartments on a small amount of land. But there can still be a problem if there aren’t enough apartments available to buy.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•When leftists say "landlord are parasites" or similar dislike of landlords, do they also mean the people that own like a couple of houses as an investment, or only the big landlords?English
80·1 year agoYes. You shouldn’t be allowed to have a second house to rent out. The problem is limited supply in a given area, and if everyone buys a second, third, fourth house (or townhouse) then there is no supply left for people that want to actually buy to live in that house. Frankly I think it’s unethical. There are plenty of other ways to invest your money.
I also don’t think this position is limited to leftists, although yes the leftists here have a very dramatic take. I think anyone that thinks about this should see the problem.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why are Democrats so scared of "setting dangerous precedents" when the other side will do what it wants anyway?English
14·1 year agoThat is the answer, sorry to say you just don’t want to accept it.
Perhaps an example but this time with media. The right wing media is happy and gleeful to twist, misportay, and even straight out lie. The left wing media can’t do the same thing because they are beholden to the truth. It’s the same thing. That’s my last reply.

Seriously? You’re this pedantic on the word discussion? Ok I will amend my first comment to:
We just had probably the most consequential election of our life and you want to ban
discussionquestions and the resulting discussion in the comments?Jeez all over again.
… And now you can’t ask anything about politics. There’s was doubtless going to be political questions to ask, and politic adjacent (where do I move) that will all be removed.
And you can’t even ask about effects on the world either! Gaza, Ukraine, NATO, trade, tariffs, etc. Are those going to be removed? All valid questions, but sounds political to me.
Like way to shut down shit tons of conversation.

I always did my snake to the bottom left, funny how it looks off to me.
