So it depends on what you are going to use it for. It might be that it won’t matter (in your case) that the address is linked to your identity through the phone number if you are already linking it to yourself in other ways.

These companies are making a bank out of planned obsolescence, and they can do so because their workers are cheap.

In a throwaway culture, you do not want to be a generic factory worker, because your time and efforts will be worth almost nothing.
