I would say grep, sed, awk and the like.

SupraMario is right about getting an ar15. Lots of time and effort went into creating a great system with a well thought out set of compromises. From magazine capacity to parts availability to ergonomics, it’s a really solid system and I highly encourage people who can to own one per person in your household.

Never voted for any Republican anything my entire life. Have been buying guns for myself and my family for over a decade.
Please share your viewpoint with those in your circle of influence, as we will need more of this going forward.
Also, don’t just buy a pistol. Buy a shotgun and a rifle.
Be safe.

Not the person you were in a conversation with, but all Johnny Walker is blended scotch. I would suggest a single malt instead (the entire bottle is from a single distillation).
I’m partial to peat heavy scotches, and my go to are Lagavulin and Laphroaig, both should be under $100 (been a few years since I’ve indulged). If you want a more middle of the road honeyed and heathered flavor, go for MacCallan 12 or Glenmorangie, both should be under $60. If you want something with salty seaside flavor to it, opt for a speyside like Glenfiddich or a west highland like Oban.
It’s not that jw is a bad whisky, but for what people pay for a bottle of blue, you can get two fantastic bottles of an actual single malt.

Why do you think his throat sounds like that?

Very interested in your setup for that opi2w. I have one that is being retired from pihole duty that I’ll be doing similar to. Also want to add an sdr to it so it can pull ghostnet js8call and the like.

maybe it’s time for a rewrite
with ray tracing?

It’s half a terabyte and I’ve found all sorts of shit in there, but I doubt I’ll ever get it organized. I mocks me in defiance.

The thought of this terrifies me. I should do it.

DJ Shadow - Endtroducing
I have listened to this album more times than anything else I own. I’m on my third copy of it after wearing out the original pressing I have from the 90’s and the repressing from 10 years ago. I know every sample, every soundscape, and it almost brings me to tears every time I drop the needle on it. So many memories of good times where this was the soundtrack. So many friends, now gone, walk next to me again when that album plays.
I miss you, Isaac.
That sounds so amazing. Air temperature outside my car driving back from the store was 114F a few minutes ago. You can’t go outside, you can’t get fresh air into your house, and the a/c runs full blast 24/7 just to hit 72F inside, until the power grid fails, again, because it’s more profitable to not properly maintain the equipment. I need to get out of here. Texas sucks.

Gentoo. They’re talking about Gentoo.
I’ve managed to banish all but one windows and one osx install from my house. What’s stopping me is a bazillion little windows utility programs for things like updating firmware on radios and such, and some hardware integrated commercial software: Ableton Live, and Serato DJ. I’ve tried lmms, mixxx, ardour, xwax, and many others. I just haven’t been able to be creative with making and mixing music with the open source tools out there. Mixxx is getting really close, but doesn’t have video integration last I checked.
I keep asking these two companies when they will put out a build for linux and have been met with varied responses from corpo garbage to laughter. It’s disappointing.

Am over 30, sign me up.

Bo Burnham sounds like a fucking idiot. Despite his size, Goliath was defeated by a well placed projectile.

Lilygo uses old stock bb keyboards, I think. Looks exactly like the one an employer had me carry.

Swapping out tubes (and opamps on your DAC) is very much a thing, and I’m convinced that I can hear the difference between a sovtek tube and a Chinese clone, but that could be all in my head, as it wasn’t a blind test. Do some research on the amps, but for computer use, Fosi mc331 has an integrated DAC and puts out about 100w per channel. If my computer didn’t already have active studio monitors, I’d have pulled the trigger on it by now. For $116, it’s hard to resist.
Oddly, at the most recent no kings day rally, I saw zero meshtastic traffic. I was disappointed.
