When they were first introduced, they we optional and choosing them cost extra. Over the years they were integrated into all models and everyone had to suddenly pay extra. Zero choice.

Those are not potential — it was a completely new forgettable season from just a few years ago.

But the original series is great — obviously it peters out a bit toward the end but first seven or eight seasons are straight gold.
