It’s a funny meme, but with the (relative) popularity of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Historical European Martial Arts, LARPing, renaissance faires, and to some extent D&D and LOTR… you’re not going to have a high-powered income, but you won’t lack for companionship.

Focusing on American slavery is what makes you really popular at parties though. (Did you know that I am incorrect about the probably thousands of pages of primary accounts of slavery I read over the course of several years? As well as the reasons for the Civil War? Haven’t I taken a high school history class before???)
