  • I did not check in last week, ask this is two weeks worth, however schedules have slowed us a bit.

TNG started with us skipping episode 9, because really who needs another Q episode?

That took us to episode 10 Haven and meeting Nurse Chapel the ship’s computer Lwaxana Troi and the creepy silver mimic.

Then was episode 11, The Big Goodbye, another stuck in the Holodeck episode, I know technically this was the first of those.

Episode 12, DataLore is an episode I have been looking forward to seeing again, my wife was not as impressed with it as I was at 10.

Episode 13 Angel One we got to see a really horny Riker.

Episode 14, 11001001 the Bynars and another stuck in the Holodeck episode. This one was much better than the last Holodeck episode.

Voyager we watched S4e15 and 16 Hunters and Prey, 17 Retrospect where Seven thinks, with the Doctor’s prodding, that she was attacked. And e18 Killing Game part 1

  • I’ll add some notes to this guy, on the “no specialized tools required” this may be a misdirect.

The last brakes I changed were on a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer, and before that, a 2001 Toyota Avalon, and a 2001 VW Jetta. None of those needed anything special outside my meager tool kit and the piston compressor. I did not stop to think newer cars may be more openly hostile to home repair now.

  • Thanks for the additional info. When I did my first brake job I was unable to retract the piston without opening the bleeder valve, but I did not have a clamp or pad spreader. I always assumed it was needed.

I have a manual now and after 10 years it is still on the original pads, so I am a bit out of practice.
